Organic red wine. This “vin de garde” great red wine is made from Cabernet grapes, more commonly found in Bordeaux. Much like a fine Bordeaux, this wine is matured slowly, seeing 24 months in used French oak barriques and will continue to positively develop for many many years to come.
Gently fragrant on the nose, showing vibrant expressions of wild blackberries and black plums, underpinned by silky tobacco notes. As the wine breathes, it also reveals the delightful aromas of the maquis that is so distinctive to the Léoube vineyard.
