A versatile addition to your home, our fully certified organic sheepskin can be used as a cosy liner for prams, bassinets and chairs, as a luxuriously soft rug for uncarpeted areas, or simply to add natural texture to your interiors.
Due to their natural composition and the way they are made, sheepskins vary in size, shape and other characteristics. No two will be exactly the same; we think this adds to their charm.
At Daylesford we raise our sheep organically. Their thick, full fleeces and skins (signs of a life well lived!) are tanned and made into natural organic sheepskin rugs. We use vegetable tannins such as mimosa in our tanning process which is slower than chemical and chrome processes, with no bleaches or toxic chemicals involved.
